It’s fun to have some groups and study with students. I’ve chosen Listening Group and we have three members now. I’ve proposed and prepared a DVD movie and a music CD for students to study and improve their listening comprehensions, of course including me. Actually, they are struggling how to listen enough, how to speak what they want to say. They really want to enjoy chatting with native English speakers. Yet, they’ve not still tracked down the best way to polish up their English. I suppose that there’s no way without effort, yeah, there are no short cuts.  Resources for studying are ready now, then how should they study em during their winter breake. They should show their determine and desire to become better English listeners not to be slaves of credit. 118 words

Thai people

After reading newspaper yesterday morning, I felt that the Thai seems to advance than Japanese. Because they sent into exile their prime minister who committed a great injustice and also stopped the puppet government. They were quite energetic and able to put ideas into action immediately.  They were absent from work and participated in a demonstration, and Japanese never have the posture against authority. What a safety-first people Japanese are!                           70words

Global Warming

I can’t believe that people still to deny that our planet is getting warmer. I read the other day that ice in the Arctic and Antarctic Oceans has been steadily melting; as a result, the sea level is rising. And we hear more and more about extreme weather, such as floods, hurricanes, droughts and tsunamis. Global warming is now a household terms, and everyone talks about how we can reduce greenhouse gases and carbon dioxide emissions. The leaders of developed nations were taking note;a post-Kyoto Protocol framework to prevent further global warming was a top priority at 2008 Group of Eight Summit Meeting in Hokkaido. I believe there were no drastic measures and regurations there. And also that stupid Bush’s country was not going to sign on Kyoto-Protocol. Shame on you, Bush! 135words

Metabolic Syndrome

I  believe that I sure am thin, kind of ?  But I was diagnosed with a condition known as “metabolic syndrome”. In other words, according to my physical check up results, I have excess visceral fat. I think it’s because I have an unbalanced diet, maybe drink too much alcohol, and definitely lack exercise. The doctor warned me that unless I do something about my present condition, I’m at a high risk of diabetes, stroke or heart attack.  77words
